Hearne Lake Lodge®, owned by Hearne Lake Operations Ltd and is a Member of the NWT Arctic Tourism and has been in operations since 1998.
After spending a lifetime working in Calgary Alberta, raising a family, Don and Lucile Stretch decided that it was time to finally achieve the dream of owning a fishing lodge. Fell in love with Hearne Lake and the rest as they say is history.
Don and Lucile Stretch
owner/operators are at the lodge from opening to closing date. Don is
always willing to share his extensive knowledge of the lake, advise you on the
best fishing techniques that work at Hearne Lake so your fly-in fishing trip will
be an experience to remember. Lucile cooks
and looks after the day-to-day lodge operation.
Even though our location is remote, 40 miles East of Yellowknife, NWT, our guests have access to High Speed Internet and Skype phone to keep in touch with the “real world”.
We limit ourselves to a maximum of 8 guests at one time. You are guaranteed the attention and service you deserve. We are always ready to talk fishing and answer any of your questions.
