Don and Lucile Stretch, owner operators, live full time at their fly in only remote lodge. Hearne Lake Lodge is only accessible by floatplane and catering to a max of 8 fishers at one time. Fly In facility provides you the drop camp atmosphere with full service lodge benefits. After a long day of Canada Northern Pike fishing, Canada Lake Trout fishing and Arctic Grayling fishing in the Land of the Midnight Sun, who wants to cook and clean while the others relax? We offer lake and river fishing. Allowing you to get out even on those windy days. Besides Hearne Lake we offer day trips to other lakes within walking distance. One lake being fly fishing only. Other than small fish for shore lunch or dinners, Hearne Lake Lodge has been Catch and Release since day one. All the trophy fish on our site are back in the lake to ensure future generations of trophies. The great fishing starts at the dock. A guide is not needed. Don is out every day in his personal boat with whoever wants assistance. A little advice before starting out for the day, along with maps and good radio communication between boats and lodge is all that is needed. One price says it all! Your rate includes: boat/motor/fuel, floatplane, taxes, fishing license, soda pop/mix, gratuities, free phone and Internet service (for those of you who have to stay in touch), fishing equipment if needed and free fly fishing lessons including equipment, and more.
